Not happy with your mount? You have 30 days from the day your order arrives to return it for a full refund. No awkward questions — just email us and we’ll get it sorted.
Change-of-mind returns: you arrange and pay for tracked return postage. If the item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, see the next section — we cover everything.
How it works
- Email sales@radmag.nz with your order number before day 30.
- Return the mount in the same condition — unmarked, all original parts included. Adhesive backing removed is fine; that’s how you test a mount.
- You arrange and pay for tracked return postage to our Auckland workshop.
- We inspect it on arrival. Full refund to your original payment method within 5 business days.
Note: Use a tracked courier — if the return doesn’t arrive, we can’t process the refund.
Arrived Faulty or Damaged?
We cover it completely — 30 days
If your order arrives damaged in transit, has a manufacturing defect, or doesn’t perform as described — that’s on us.
Email sales@radmag.nz within 30 days of delivery with a photo of the issue. We’ll cover return shipping and send a replacement — or issue a full refund, your choice.
12-Month Manufacturer’s Warranty
All RAD MAG mounts carry a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of purchase. This covers:
- Structural failure during normal use
- Defective components
- Fitment inaccuracies specific to your radar detector model
Not covered
- Damage from improper installation or misuse
- User modifications to the product
- Normal cosmetic wear
- Damage to your radar detector unit (warranty covers the mount hardware only)
Wrong Item or Missing Parts?
Let us know within 30 days of delivery and we’ll fix it at no cost to you.
Your Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. The CGA gives you guarantees that goods will be of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, and match their description — and these rights apply in addition to, and override where applicable, anything stated above.
If a remedy under the CGA is more favourable to you than what’s offered in this policy, the CGA wins — every time. International customers retain any equivalent consumer protections under the laws of your country.
Limitation of Liability
Beyond our standard product warranty, RAD MAG NZ accepts no responsibility or liability for any injury, fatality, accident, financial loss, property damage, or any other claims arising from the installation, use, misuse, or inability to use this product.
This strict exclusion of liability applies unconditionally — even if the product itself is faulty or defective — and covers any damages resulting from, but not limited to:
- Faulty, negligent, or improper installation
- Incorrect or improper electrical wiring
- Modifications made to the vehicle
- Failure to adhere to provided guidelines and instructions
By installing or using this product, the user assumes all associated risks and accepts full responsibility for any consequences, regardless of product performance.
